This site is a tribute to Valerie Holmes . She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Please join us in remembering Valerie - mum its hard to say that the illness of Dementia is not easy to deal with when your loved ones have difficulty in communication and loss of memory. The only thing you can see is sometimes a minor acknowledgment or a smile that you are able to believe they know that you love them. 

I am sad but not sad if thats strange we all did not take it strongly and to see the early pains of mum not being able to remember daily items, finally to the extreme limitations of even living. I only hope that other families do not have to see this in the future .

Mum and Dad did lead a blessed life together and they are now together again, he's had peace for a few years now his chores will start again and no garage to go hide. 

Mum - we love you going to miss you like we missed dad. Your in gods hand now I am truly thankful for the love you gave to me and so many others.
